So for those who don't know the Metro is a free newspaper in the uk given away on public transport. They always mention gigs today so here's a short article about Tina tonight in Glasgow
"Tina Dico a former vocalist fore zero 7, recently beat Coldplay and U2 to the top slot in Denmark and pocketed a couple of awards for her album, in the red, now released in the states and the uk. Can she triump further afield? Dico could be the Danish version of Beth Orton - a songwriter singing from the Joni Mitchell hymm sheet. Thats not to suggest Dico doesn't have her own inner voice. On in the red, she displays a compelling restraint on darkly intense material. To say it is subtle, even tatseful is as clever as saying the sky's grey; but Dico is deceptively made of sterner stuff, too. Perhapse not surprisingly, there are no frills to her live shows, either. Dico fronts an efficient four-peice, with solo acoustic interludes to remind us who's in charge."
