Well well well.........
what can i say?
First off,a supa gig! Prefered it more to the Notts gig last week for some reason.
Tina played a new new song that ive never heard before and its not on the tour ep either but cant remember what it was called and i didnt even record it cuz wasnt so much in a recording/pic taking mood.
It went something like......."and suddenly you call,suddenly you call".....something something....anyway i really liked:)
Now i was completely sh*tting myself because,its a long story so will just give you a jist of it,someone who knows how much i am in drooling love with Tina's hummingbird told her on Sunday at Cambridge gig about my fascination.
Tina then told him that i could get up on stage at the glee and do one of her songs...on her guitar and she would sing.
OH MY!
I thought he was joking when he told me.
Then realised he wasnt.
Then i felt sick with worry!
I dont really play at all infront of ANYONE on my guitar really.Too shy.
So to get up on stage,at the glee(my fave venue)in my city,infront of a roomfull of people,infront of TINA playing a TIMA SONG on TINA'S guitar,well i was basically shItting myself!
So i sent her myspace a message chcikening out but asked if she was serious about it that i wouldbe up for it the next time she is touring again.
So,Tina comes on.Belts out some songs.
The she says
"dont worry Rachael,im not gonna drag you up tonight.Is Rachael here?"
my frined are pointing me out at this point
"she is in love with my guitar so we will have to do it another time yeah??"
i sat cowered in my seat trying not to draw attention to myself
me:
"yeah!"
:o
was chuffed!
so gig finishes,oh by the way Tina played Lets get Lost aswell and Send my Best again!:D
yeah,then we say hello to Kenny and Gow(hi dudes!!)
and get in queue to say hi to her.
bla bla bla
anyways it get to my turn and i tell her that i am the hummingbird fanatic and she said that we will have to defo doa song together next time which i think she said will be next year she touring again.
then i walk off without asking for a pic with guitar so we rush back in while the moody bouncer is telling us to leave.
anyways,i got to hold the guitar!!!
