Just like in Köln, Germany in November it was Belgium on the front row again. :) The venue in Cambridge (called The Junction) was a really nice and cosy place.

The support act for Tina was another female singer songwriter with her Orange Cat socks and guitar on stage. She had a nice soft voice and pretty songs. Unfortunately I already have forgotten her name.

Then it was time for Tina and Karoline. They started of with some new songs with the keyboard of Karoline given some problems in the first songs. Luckely Tina was there to fix the problem. She played different new songs during the show and of course many songs from the other albums that we all know by heart. Tina's voice sounded incredible as always. I must say that the new songs sound very promissing. Some of them are really briliant and certainly I can't wait to hear the full new album that is coming in the future.

I was really surprized and honoured when Tina gave me the opportunity to request a song. First I was stunned and the a dozen of songs came into my head. In the end I decided to go for 'Magic' because in my opinion her voice sounds heavenly in that song.

I think we travelled a little over 12 hours in one day just to see Tina play live. The concert lasted around one hour and twenty five minutes and for me it was well worth the trip. (Altough I am feeling a little bit tired today ;) )

I want to thank Tina again for the amazing show, giving me the request song, the lovely chat and for remembering my name :) Us Belgians will be at at another one of your shows in the near future!

I also wish to send a special thank you to Tina's Mom. Thanks, you're the best! I will never forget this!

David- That was some trip but it sounds like it was worth it! Magic was an excellent choice. Did Tina play 2 new songs like the other gigs?
I guess you are enjoying the EP now!

Yeah, it was a real adventure. It was also my first ever driving on the left-experience :)
Tina played three new songs if I remember correctly:
1. He Doesn't Know
2. ?? (I am affraid I am too tired at the moment to remember the title correctly, I can certainly say is was a very beautiful song about the relation between men and women. She told us it was the second time ever she played it live. As soon as remember the title I will post it :) )
3. Quarter to Forever

Love the EP of course. I have already found the time to play it six times or so on the motorway from Cambridge to Dover. As I said before, I am really impressed by the new songs.

I would have been at the gig myself, but after 2 heavy nights out in a row, I was too tired and lethargic to make the trip. Which is a bit daft really because I've been waiting for her to come to Cambridge for ages, and the one time she does and I have my ticket, I don't go. Oh well. Glad you enjoyed yourself anyway.

I forgot to mention that she also played "Count to Ten" during the gig in Cambridge.
If remember correctly the title of the song everybody is talking about, but nobody knows its name, is "Cruel to the Sensitive Half". Does this ring a bell for anybody, because I am not completely sure. However I remember it being a very very beautiful song with fantastic lyrics.
