Teitur UK tour in May

Just wanted to let those who enjoyed Teitur's music when he supported Tina last April know he is doing a UK tour in May.

Aww, yes! Go see him! He is great! Here is a pic of him at The Maintenance Shop in Ames, Iowa (USA) last September. The fellow on stage with him is Tobias Froberg who opened that night, and joined Teitur on stage for some songs. He, also, was very good! :)

So I saw Teitur at the Glee club last night and he was great! :) There was a good turnout including at least one person from the Faroe islands who draped the national flag over a front row seat.
Hearing the songs with just Teitur's voice and guitar was fantastic. His voice is at least as good live as it sounds on CD and I particularly loved the arrangement of 'I run the carousel'. He played a good selection from both 'Poetry and aeroplanes' and 'Stay under the Stars'.
He started with 2 songs in Faroese from his brand new album which I now have -I now need to try and find out what he is singing about but it sounds good!. Apparently last night was the first time he had sold this album as it actually released next week so when he signed it he wrote on it that it is the 3rd copy ever sold of this album and he was very proud!
'Stay under the Stars' comes out officially in the UK in June and I hope he is able to tour here again soon.

Thanks for the great review! That is really neat about the flag. And what is the name of the new album?

So cool Teitur will be coming back here to Iowa in May!!! I am hoping he will have his new Cd, ( The Singer), for sale at the concert! :) But, from what we have heard of it, we will probably have it before then. :cool: The samples we have heard sound amazing.

A bonus!!! Just found out recently that Jessie Baylin is opening for Teitur! She is great, and she has her new CD coming out soon. We saw Jessie open for Dolores O'Riordan (The Cranberries) awhile back and she was amazing. Ha, ha...Jessie is best friends with Scarlett Johansson !!!

Anyway, I sure hope that fans on here can possibly go see Teitur on his tour, which includes Tina on a few dates! Here is a link:
