I do think it'd be good exposure for her to tour with another artist like that though, but hopefully in a co-headlining capacity and not just playing a 30-40 minute opening set.

I'm honestly surprised no one tried to tack her on to the Sia tour last year...that would've kinda made sense, and would've been better than the random generic singer-songwriter guy they had opening for her.

Well, Charlotte just completed a great tour opening for Pete Yorn and Aqualung! From looking at her Myspace...it seems she garnered a bunch of fans. I think you are right...pairing her with Sia would have exposed her to a bunch of Sia and Zero 7 fans also...but it seems she did great with the Pete Yorn crowd!

Maybe in the future?

And , as far as the "generic" singer you mentioned...he is a great singer! His music was on Grey's Anatomy, just as Tina's was!

Sorry, he's just not my thing. He's not awful or anything, but I feel like I've heard/seen a dozen guys who sound just like that. Just never got into many male singer-songwriters past the classics (Dylan, Nick Drake, Cat Stevens, etc)

Also, I've never seen Grey's Anatomy. ;) I know, I'm probably the last person alive who hasn't.

I would like to see Charlotte next time she tours on her own though...still bummed I was forced to miss that Schubas gig last year.
