Anyone else going to this?
I am going with my sister who lives in Milton Keynes (she is kindly putting me up for the night as I live in Coventry!) I am sure she will be converted to a Tina fan by the end of the evening!

Julia, I think I must have met you IRL...were you at the a-ha gig in Coventry in January?

Yes- on the front row! What a night!
Met so many people at the pub and in the crazy week before hand running around Coventry trying to win tickets so names are a bit of a blur!

Me too! I was there with my touring buddy from Singapore. You know I think I was standing right next to you....did your sister/friend join you at around 5pm. We were in the queue from around 4pm...:D

No that wasn't me- I didn't get there till 6pm- still managed to squeeze the front row though!- I was in front of Magne's piano. I came with my husband and Carl and Kate who won the meet and greet.

I do remember Stephanie frrom Singapore (she gets everywhere!) as my husband found her singapore identity card which had fallen out of her pocket and returned it! I was too busy staying close to Carl and Kate in the hope they could squeeze someone extra into the meet and greet but was not to be- they did get my CD signed though!

Still on a high after last night- it was fantastic!

First up was Teitur who played for 40 mins and certainly seemed to enjoy the grand piano- He was great and after the gig I spoke to him but he had run out of copies of his CD so will have to try and find out more about him.

Then Tina came on and I was spellbound for the whole set- it was fantastic!

Tina admitted before coming to Milton Keynes that she had never heard of the place and she was surprised there were people there to see her! - Although not full there was a pretty good turn out.

Approx order:

One
Warm sands
Give in
The city
Nobody's man
Room with a view
Use me
In the red
Break of day
Magic- had heard this before on the DVD and it was a real treat!
Let's get lost
Back where we started
(surprised she did not play 'Losing' as that is the next single)

Also we were treated to what Tina said was a first as Teitur came on stage to play the Grand piano for a few songs starting with In the red so we had a trio!!

Afterwards Tina was much in demand and I was able to speak to her and got a poster signed -I now have the 'Dico' signature after having the 'Dickow' one on my DVD as she does change it!
Also noticed she was a fellow left hander although she plays guitar right handed! I mentioned this forum and for her to check the site out- she asked if many people were on it LOL!

She was also kind enough to pose for a photo

Thanks Tina for a great night!

Look at you. I do believe you are Tina's long lost twin sister. Bet you she writes a song about long lost siblings soon....
