I'm having a hard time believing what I'm reading. Thanks to Jason for clarifying that this is not a joke otherwise I would have had the same reaction. So, Tina “starred in an erotic TV show”. well i agree, so what, she has a past, we all have, im sure we all have skeletons in the closet, she still is an amazing songwriter and singer and musician, she still is very down to earth and very beautiful, When i met her in Leicester I was totally blown away about how nice she was, she is a truely lovely person and I am and always will be a fan of her and her amazing music.

You have to also take into context what goes and doesn't go on Danish tv. The Danes are healthily open about the human body and nakedness. People don't hide what they're not embarrassed about. Its not like in the USA where a nipple-flash can cause certain groups to cry armageddon. :eek:

Over here, women freely breast-feed in public (whats more natural than that?), and people walk about in their birthday suit in sports changing rooms (as apposed to having towels wrapped around like an egyptian Mummy) displaying their crown jewels.
Last night I was watching the Danish version of Gay Eye for the Straight Guy, or whatever its called in the US/UK (the makeover show by gay guys for straight blokes). The subject of the show was getting ready for his date (and having a shower) and the camera showed him showering and putting on his underwear. There was no cock-shot as such, but they certainly didn't feel the need to cover up his bum or body - its not like its graphic or anything.

Anyway... back to my point. On danish tv you get stuff which wouldn't get past the censors in places more conservative like the USA and UK. But its not shocking, and its not "erotic" or titilation. Its just a naked person.

I've seen bits of Karusel - although not actually Tinas scenes - and its perfectly acceptable tv. Sure you get some naked arses and some nips in there, but its not like its time to reach for the tissues :eek:

I read in the danish GAFFA, that she got the part and then they told her, she was goning to be naked; and then she said NO - and said she didn't want the part. But she changed her mind and said yes, and all the other actors was very kind to her.

Just to play devil's advocate here, this is a site devoted to discussing Tina Dico the artist, not just Tina Dico the singer-songwriter. Part of her resumé as an entertainer is that aside from the music, she has done some acting, and in one show, did some fairly tame and brief nudity. Some of her music fans seem to find this really offensive. To others, it's really hot. And I'm guessing a majority probably couldn't care less.

I think it's safe to say the #1 priority is that we all love her music which is why we gravitated here in the first place, but I don't think there's any reason to say we shouldn't be able to discuss some non-musicial part of her career as a performer just because it might be a little bit 'controversial.' If one finds the topic boring or just the mere discussion of it to be offensive, I'd say...avoid reading the thread! ;)

Ok. In the U.S. it´s a PG 17 thing; but in the rest of the world? Her behavior is not pornographic or indecent. It was her choice to do that and we have to respect this.

And she is very sexy indeed :)
