Here is my plea to all the fans that look at these forum, you are probably like me, completely confused at why Tina is not a Massive Star in the UK and for that matter everywhere else, please send e-mails to your local radio stations and ask them to play your favourate Tina song. Everybody I know in the UK either was a word of mouth or itunes convert, if we can get some of her work played on the radio more we can make sure she has a bigger UK fan base and hopefully she will keep touring in this country.:)

thanks JK

Thanks mike,
We are on the same page, I agree with everything you said, Tina is an amazingly talented artist, and she deserves to have a No1 album not just in denmark but in the UK and The US.

In the UK a lot of new accustic artists are breaking through with the likes of Nerina Pallot and James Morrison, Tina is better than them and if only she had more air play I'm sure her career would explode with success, and she is such a lovely person she deserves it.

While i do believe that Tina deserves all the success she can,i just wouldnt want het to become too commercial.
You know what its like, you really love an artists work, then they get thrust into the mainstream where it is played here there and everywhere and it doesnt feel the same anymore.
Typical example is Coldplay.
I LOVED them and then they got overplayed and too successful.
Yeah its great for the artists as it means more people get to hear their stuff and they sell loads more, but i just dont like that fact that EVERYONE knows their songs and they lose their meaning.

Like i said,i think Tina deserevs back as much as she puts in,and that more people need to know about her so they can experience her musical loveliness, but i dont wanna lose that feeling that her music has on me.

Just my opinion mind you;)

Hi guys, i agree with you, id hate it if Tina, went so mainstream that she changed and that we didnt feel this connection with her and her music, but i think her music would be a real benefit to lots of people, i listed to "room with a view" for the first time when i was really depressed and down, it made me think, things arent that bad, just look at this beautiful world we live in, made me really think and it cheered me up.

Also "Give In" i can really relate to that song, i sometimes wonder whats gonna happen in my life, wheres it going, and the song is all about giving in and going with the flow and letting things happen, makes alot of sence.

id really like to know the meaning behind "black and white" can someone tell me?

Cheers Jason

Yes I love the song not to sure what the lyrics mean you'd have to ask Tina.

I think that Tina is great and her Lyrics heart warming.

It's so nice to see an up and coming artist gig in a small venue, it's so much more personnal than going to a large stadium gig.

Would love to see tina again. Going to spend the weekend playing all her albums.

See Ya:eek:

I think you may be on about "Break of day???"

Yes could well be. Well my favourite Tina song is room with a view. I think that it's fab and it makes me sad every time I hear it. I have my own room with a view and I bet everyone on this forum does.

Who sings the song 'The patience of angels' I've been singing this song it my head for days and I really cannot think of who sings it. Anyway this unknown artists voice really reminds me very much of Tina. If anyone would please help me out with this one as it's bugging me!!!!!!

Thanks so much for that I would have never been able to remember it in a million years 'eddi reader'. I'm still singing it in my head three weeks later. I cannot believe that you found that she was such a one hit wonder in the 80's

Still think that she sounds a like Tina, although not nearly as easy on the eye!

Talking of music, I watch the top 100 albums of all time on C4 last night - Radiohead OK Computer at number 1 - NO NO NO How can this be!!! Think that they should let me do my top 100 of all time.

Love,

Scarlet
