Dear Tina!
I strongly recommend Tina Dico.
She's absolutely fantastic - I somehow feel, though, that you might not benefit from this information.
Otherwise, you should take a few moments to listen to www.myspace.com/soundholedk.
Love,
Papa Pete

I love Tina's early song "When You're Away" which I think was released on the Warm Sand single. Why isn't it listed in her discography or have lyrics? That's one of my favorite Tina songs and I'm lucky to have heard it while at work!

I felt bad that no one had posted anything yet. I have to say that if you get bored, check out online either Triple J or BondiFM out of the AU. Two of the best radio stations that you can stream anywhere. Perfect for your road trips.

Whoops. The comments were hidden. Guess people had posted some stuff.
Check SF band the Lovemakers and also Missy Higgins. You might enjoy both.

I think you have reached the point where it would be acceptable for you to do an album with your own favourite songs, arranged Tina Dickow style.
It was a pleasure watching you in Den Fynske Landsby. Keep it up girl

hey tina - my name is matt from Banbridge northern ireland - the music i like to listen to most is - obviously your new album - its deep, you write good lyrics - emiliana torrini, a fine frenzy, nerina pallot, bob dylan - masters of war - pawn in their game, etc, sarah kelly - zero 7 are cool, robinella, - i love to listen to beautiful music, but moreso,i love lyrics that i would speak if i could spit the words out, i have accepted that i am not supposed to write - i am supposed to enjoy what others have written for me.......haha,if that makes sense
p.s. maybe, hopefully, sometime you will come to belfast or banbridge, there are places to do small and large gigs all around -
take care
matt

hehe, i wrote sophie b. hawkins a mail today with a pps of things SHE should listen to.
i think tina would like the german singer/songwriter katja werker. her second album "contact myself" and her third one "leave that thing behind" are perfect examples of what an artist can achieve by doing "it" all on her own.
her fourth album "dakota" is a horrible accident after her change to emi. disgusting, sadly.
other things i listen to:
the usual suspects: sophie b. hawkins (timbre), tori amos (scarlet's walk), shawn colvin (a few small repairs), suzanne vega (i think her new album beauty and crime is her best ever), laura nyro
the unusual suspects: vienna teng (warm strangers, waking hour), charlotte martin (stromata, on your shore), david olney (roses, border crossing), jennifer daniels (summer filled sky), kate markowitz (! yes she has an own album: map of the world), patrick wolf (i just love him), anne heaton (give in)
the almost unknown: patti witten (probably the best folk singer songwriter alive), caleb (roderick heinemann) (fear of success)

Right now, One. Before, Neil Young, The Wailin' Jennys, Lucinda Williams, Sia, Patty Griffin, Jack Johnson, Goldfrapp. But Tina, you are the best!

Hi Tina,
thank for your impressing show in germany in Karlruhe "DAS FEST" last sunday. I like your music and the sound-ideas in it very much. the storys you tell in your lyrics are so sensual and i like it how you tell us these things!
Ok, now back to your request:
You should listen to SCOTT MATTHEW's album " There is an ocean that divides and with my longing I can charge it with a voltage that's so violent to cross it could mean death" (2009). I saw him live in Stutgart this year - very nice!
Hugs ;–)

Charlie Winston: Like a hobo

and I wanna say Thank you! for that easily written "cigarette or two" at the end of the line, ´cause when I come true, it´s not only about smoking, it´s because one is never enough, we are always longing for that second missing part of us. Your lyrics and music touch my soul. Thank God for this beautiful you and kind regards to your good old hummingbird gibson. Tina Dico, princess forever!

Ay Tina,
is there a chance to send you some music in return for all the good stuff you gave me? So I suggest hearing some music by The Sandman's October, still not available anywhere :O)
Maybe there is some kind of contact mail adress you sometimes check...?

I've recently heard Jason Mraz - You and I Both...but now i'm hearing Amos Lee (pretty good artist)- Sweet Pea.
If you want my recomendation of an artist I would say without a doubt Duncan Sheik, one of the best singers i've ever heard, and the song would be "She Runs Away".
